S.A.Andrée

The debut album from S.A.Andrée (who also released self-titled EP as Tiago La is Losing The Plot).

Though not immediately apparent, this is actually a concept album based on the final voyage of a Swedish explorer (the original S.A.Andrée) who went missing during an attempt to reach the North Pole via Hydrogen Balloon. Only the chance discovery of his frozen remains, maps and preserved camera film 33 years later explained the mystery of his fate.

‘There’s a Fault’ was recorded in London, NYC and LA using only vintage instruments and a selection of original analogue synthesizers, sourced for their inaccuracies and need for hands-on human control - their age highlighting the elapsed time between Andrée’s initial expedition and his belated discovery...
