Strata is an animated projected created by comicbook creator Tommy Lee-Edwards and synth composers I Speak Machine. In 2016 with Google’s Editions at Play and Penguin Random House Lex released STRATA, a retro science fiction animation e-book project directed and illustrated by Tommy Lee-Edwards. The original short stories were written by James Smythe, Laurie Penny, E.J. Swift, and Lavie Tidhar. The accompanying science essays were written by Misha Glenny, Lewis Dartnel, Paul McMahon, and Maggie Koerth-Baker.
