Eyedress - Song 2

Whilst staying in London earlier this year Eyedress covered Blur’s iconic “Song 2” for Deezer’s InVersions 90’s compilation, which also includes covers by Soccer Mommy, Priya Ragu, Lauv and more. The cover is now available everywhere.

“Originally i was trying to do a heavy “rock” version with distorted guitars n live drums, then we ended up doing a mellow guitar version and i kept looking at this Oberheim synthesizer they had in the studio… When we plugged that in we changed the whole direction of the song and made it this 80s synth pop cover with drum machines and synths. It was a fun day!”
